Grammostola Pulchra is a Brazilian native spider, it velvet black coat is shining and make it one if the most collected by collector. Nicknamed as "black beauty", it often use in the film as a pet or monster. Very Slow Growing Spider which can reach maximum leg span of 6-7 Inches after its last molt. Long Lasting, clam and docile spider.Most of Brazil has high annual average temperatures, above 22°C (72°F), so the environment is much similar to Asian country such as Malaysia, Indonesia and country along Khatulistiwa Line.

A tropical wet climate characterizes much of northern Brazil, with abundant rainfall and little or no dry season. Temperatures average 25°C (77°F). Rainfall averages about 2,200 mm (about 90 in) a year. Over central Brazil rainfall is more seasonal, characteristic of a savanna climate. Eighty percent of the rain falls in summer (October through March). Here rainfall averages about 1,600 mm (about 60 in) a year. In the interior Northeast, seasonal rainfall is even more extreme. The semiarid region receives less than 800 mm (30 in) of rain, which falls in a period of two or three months.

Recommended Pet Supplies
- An appropriately sized Terrarium/Vivarium/Aquarium depending on sizes- Substrate (3 to 4 inches thick of peat moss/coco peat/potting soil etc. for larger specimen)
- Heating equipment e.g. heat lamps, heat mats and thermostats- Large shallow water dish as it maybe drinks from it and it help to control the humidity. (All tarantulas that have at least a 3 inches leg span may drink from a shallow, wide water dish. Pebbles may be put for safety)
- Decorations and hiding places (e.g. drift wood, stone or ornamental features)
- Live-food (NOT for Slings/Spiderlings) as it may injured your T, Half Dead or Cut Meal worm is recommended) 

Remarks
- Simply mist the wall of the Terrarium everyday and feed once or twice a week.
-This species is prized for its complete uniformed black velvet look. G. pulchra is an
awesomely beautiful spider, especially after a fresh molt. It is heavy built, when matured, and a sight to behold. Another plus for this species is its calmness. This tarantula is a true pet rock. It is very easy to care for and resilient.
